Legal Scope & Institutional Clarification

United Youth Parliament (UYP) is an independent, non-partisan youth leadership and parliamentary simulation initiative. Titles such as “Youth MPA”, “Party Chief”, and “Parliamentary Delegate” are internal simulation titles for youth empowerment and civic training. They do not constitute civil service appointments, public office, or statutory governmental authority.

                        Applicant details are strictly used for cohort management and never sold to commercial third parties.

                        Demographic data is processed strictly to confirm constitutional eligibility under Article 12.

مادہ 1: تعارف اور دائرہ کار (Introduction & Scope)

This Privacy Policy and Applicant Agreement governs the collection, storage, processing, and protection of personal details submitted by individuals applying to or participating in the United Youth Parliament Pakistan (“UYP”, “we”, “our”).

By submitting the online application form, proceeding to the timed leadership assessment, or participating in UYP activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to the practices described in this document and agree to abide by the Constitution of United Youth Parliament.

مادہ 2: جمع کی جانے والی معلومات (Information We Collect)

To evaluate applications and administer regional representation, UYP collects the following categories of information:

Identity & Personal Particulars: Full name, father’s name, gender, and date of birth (used for constitutional age verification between 16 and 35 years).
Contact Information: Active WhatsApp mobile number and optional email address (used for application receipts, unique interview access links, and official notifications).
Regional & Location Particulars: Province/territory, district, and residential address (used for constituency-level youth delegate allocation).
Academic & Purpose Profile: Education/occupation, personal motivation for joining UYP, and community service background.
Identification Media (Optional): CNIC number and photograph, used for identity verification and generation of official UYP membership cards upon qualification.
Assessment Submissions & Logs: Responses to multiple-choice and written assessment questions, completion timestamps, and automated evaluation metrics.
Membership Dues Verification: Payment transaction receipts submitted by qualified applicants to confirm annual membership card issuance.

Information provided by applicants is processed solely for lawful and legitimate organizational objectives:

Facilitating the free online application and administering the personalized 30-minute timed assessment.
Verifying applicant eligibility under Article 12 and related articles of the UYP Constitution.
Issuing verifiable digital credentials, ID cards, and participation certificates for selected delegates.
Communicating cohort sessions, parliamentary sittings, training workshops, and community initiatives.
Safeguarding portal security, detecting duplicate entries, and preventing fraudulent submissions.

UYP treats applicant and member data with the highest degree of confidentiality and professional integrity:

Zero Commercial Disclosure: We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your personal contact information to commercial advertising companies or third-party marketers.
Controlled Access: Only designated evaluation coordinators and administrative personnel have access to applicant records.
Encrypted Transmission: Application forms and assessment data are transmitted over HTTPS encrypted protocols to prevent unauthorized interception.

مادہ 5: آئین اور ضابطہ اخلاق کی پابندی (Constitutional Compliance & Code of Conduct)

Every applicant who applies for membership agrees to be governed by the Constitution of United Youth Parliament Pakistan. In particular:

Applicants must maintain truthful and authentic representation in all submitted data.
Members agree to adhere to parliamentary decorum, ethical behavior, and non-partisan representation.
Titles issued by UYP must not be misrepresented as statutory governmental appointments or public law enforcement authorities.

Applicant and member records are maintained for the active parliamentary cohort duration and archived for alumni certificate verification. If an applicant needs to update inaccurate contact or profile information, they may contact UYP administration through official support channels.
